Jamii Telecommunications Limited (JTL) is a Kenyan Company specializing in Data Transport using fiber and is also duly licenced by the Communication Commission of Kenya as a Telecommunications Network Operator. JTL’s recent rebranding and repackaging to a telecommunications company created the need to have products and services that would identify with and promote their new identity.

Accessibility and Control: JTL Website and Self-Care Application

After the launch of the Faiba 4G mobile network, the company needed a new website that would have this new identity and display all their new products and services. Their existing Mobile Self-care application was complicated and did not provide customers with the best user experience.

JTL needed a mobile application that would make it easier for subscribers to manage their own accounts and buy data. Shimba Technologies designed and developed the new JTL Website (www.faiba4g.com) and an Android application for Self-care.

The quality display and good presentation of information on the website has also led to an increase in customer base. Users of the website and mobile application can clearly see all the products, services and data plans making it more alluring for them to join the network. JTL customers have been able to easily access services from JTL through the mobile application and the website.
